I got some sanding scratches on the windshield of the 54 Chevy I am working on, is there anything I can do to save this?

Use a foam brush dipped in Pledge with Future Shine and apply it on both sides of the windshield. :)

  7. I use one of those Detail Master polish cloth sets. I start with regular paper, go to 2000 grit wet sanding and switch over to the cloths and go through all the grits up to 12,000. Then I'll polish it out with Novus 2 or Meguiars Show Car Glaze.

If the scratches pretty light, a sheet of Bounce fabric softener that has gone though the dryer cycle has worked for me. Then I will sometimes use the plasitic polish after that.

good old tooth paste works too not the jell stuff the plan old white tooth paste. If you polish with a drimel, you have to watch the heat, it will burn the plastic.

I've had success polishing clear plastic with lipstick.
There's rouge in it, but very fine.
