I built this one a few years ago. Found the built T at a yard sale. Took it apart and started over. Engine is a Revell Parts Pack Caddy 354 cu in. Front tires are O-rings. I want to put some more realistic backing plates and Buick finned drums on the front axle. I know they're available in resin...I just forget who makes them. Anyone know?

That truck was painted by Pancho. His patterns are amazing.

The Western Nationals was great yesterday. I think the idea of moving the vendor tables to give more display space was a good one. The model count was 912, a little down, but recovering from 2012. I had a great time talking to old friends like Larry Henly (pictured at the top). The Monterey Bay club is great-they always donate a giveaway model(s) for the door prize drawing.

  21. beebing , you can probably get repro distortion decal sheets try on ebay the ones you have will most likly fall apart if you try to use them

  22. Thanks man. Yes they're bad. I found this kit in a box stuffed in a garage...not a good environment.
But the rest is in great shape.

The builder Curt Raitz is in the club I belong to. He saw a piece on a model froum about the wire wheels. He has made a jig and builds the wheels using monofiliment for the spokes. They come out great don't they? :D
