I don't have the original carb for my '60 pontiac 389. I was thinking of using one of the summit 600 cfm units. Anyone used one on a pontiac? Thanks in advance

I just put a 750 summit carb on my 383 Chrysler and LOVE IT, I bolted it on turned the key and was pretty much ready to go. I could have driven it the way it was out of the box without turning a screw.. But I did tweak it just a bit after a few runs up the highway. Can't say enough about it...I bought a 750 because I plan on upping the power on the engine a bit. People say it may be a touch large for the displacement but with a touch of tunning I got running right.
