History Submit CT. Dragway Pics 1960 to 1969

search your attics and basements for old shoe boxes full of CT. dragway pics 1960 to 1969 and submit here for all of us to enjoy. hopefully this thread saves some photos that would otherwise be thrown out.
here's one i just found from 1966

 

Have you checked out the Dover Drag Strip site.

Dino seems to have thousands of old Dover cars with plenty of photos.

It shut down the year I got my license.

Had a car ready to race by then.

 

Check with the guys in the Connecticut Street Rod Association. They have a slide and some movie film at their get together in February. They may have some pictures available. I know they have some pictures at their get together in June.

 

to clarify any confusion this thread is for people to submit pics after looking in there attic and basement or if anyone already has pics t from ct dragway from 1960-1969 they want to share on this post.
