I’ve had this just floating around the house for 3 or 4 years and I just noticed the Ford logo a couple of days ago, Stump The Hambers!

The Model T flywheel has those magnets attached. there is a field coil attached to the back of the block. the flywheel rotating past the field coil creates the power for the magneto. T flywheel.jpg

Damn! I've got one of those, too, from my dad's tool rack. Never saw the Ford logo, I thought it was just a magnet!

Is there any significance to the letter/number on the other arm? Mine seems to have a L or 1 on it.

Amazing, i was thinking of starting a thread about this. Not to hijack thread, but has there ever been anything the could not be solved/identified .Other than how to open that door on that custom AD pickup

I'd bet there was a time when kids haunted scrap piles that had Model Stuff in an effort to snag a few of those magnets.
I remember that thread on the truck door not coming open and remembered that I have fought a few of those in the past. The door didn't survive the battle on one but it came open.
