  6. Nice bulkhead fitting? Is that the BRAKE LINE slipped through a grommet in the frame!?!?!???!!:eek:

    That is a tube axle from a V8 sixty powered 1937 Ford. With flame cut ends welded on for the drop. Out here in Los Angeles I would say its an Okie Adams axle as he was famous for building dropped axles that way.
    But it could be somebody else's work too.

  19. The yellow '29 roadster is owned by H.A.M.B. member TMoney. His front axle is an early 50's aftermarket front axle made by Bell/Cragar. Here's a photo scaned by Titus from a 1953 issue of Hot Rod.

    The chrome hose clamps are a nice touch JJ...I like 'em. I was actually interested in the cam driven speedometer......at least I'm pretty sure

    I think that's an early Stewart-Warner crank-driven tach. Kong Jackson showed me one at the Throttlers picnic years back...

    Thanks for sharing, you make me realize that I need to take a bit more time lining up my shots of the cars instead of just randomly taking photos.
