Mallory dual point distributor number 267 listing shows it is for 51-52 studebaker. I compared it to a cadillac mallory number 283 and it looks and measured exactly the same... could just be a difference in the advance curve maybe? I cleaned this one up filed the points and ran it on my sun machine. It works great. the vac advance (brake type) is not working, but they were problematic and I usually disable them anyhow. cap and rotor look fine. overall a good looking unit. I have never seen a stude one before. probably hard to find. 450.00 and I will ship it for free in the lower 48
