my stud welder took a shit and i was just wondering if i should go with a motor guard brand or H & S stud welder both I can get at the same price thats a good thing about working for a paint store just wondering which one i should go with thanks
what kind of shit did it take? I thought mine was toast when the studs wouldn't stick anymore. due to the wisdom on the HAMB all I needed to do was clean off the tip so I could get better ground. works great now.
motor guard 12yrs. and counting. not counting the number of studs though, not even gonna try to count the times i bought packages. been real good, but never abused. (the gun that is)
Hey, Pick up a couple of pry picks and pry rods (see Martin Tools or Ebay) and teach yourself how to use them. Sell your "soldering iron" to collision guys repairing late model jap pie tin thin vehicles ,working as the insurance industries bitch! Never buy a bag of "studs" again! H & S !!! Us Canadians can use the US dollar. Anyway both work well, I like the Idea of getting back to prybars and spoons. I always said give 6 guys one job, they'll do it six different ways but they'll get it done. The Old Tinbasher
