  8. Here's some current pictures of the original Galt Strokers Streamliner dragster that ran from 1957 to 59 and is the oldest surviving streamliner dragster in Canada. It's been 5 years but the restoration is going well........and yes I plan to make some passes on the track. Great thread!

    Jack Moss used to run a twin Chevy powered streamliner from the late 1950’s and well into the 1960’s. Named “2-Much,” Jack’s double digger was a beautifully designed race car based out of Amarillo.

    This is a streamlined dragster that I built out of a Morris bumper overider, stamped steel & coffee cart wheels.

    A month earlier (April '60) Hank Vincent and his crew had the Top Banana Too at the Bayview track in Washington State. He ran the car off the track there also. He was lucky that day. I always wondered if there was something wrong with his vision?
