would the mall have security cameras? i woud think they do atleast get a shot coming or going out of the place for some clues
Mall security said they have no outside video surveillance. They said it is up to the individual businesses to provide that.
Email me hi-res photos of the car and any additional info you have and we will get it up on our homepage's lastest news in hopes to help more eyes see! [email protected]
I'm trying to get some pictures but my wife's cousin is in Florida and doesn't know the car is gone yet.
that sucks, i know what its like to have your own stolen i hope it gets back where it belongs, goodluck on finding it
The sad part about it is that I've had hot rods all my life and never had one stolen or even broken into. But, this guy trusted me to take care of his car until he moves back to California next year, and this happens.
damn that really sux, i had a car stolen one time and its really upsetting. and like you it wasnt mine it was my wifes before we got married. fortunately she doesnt hold a grudge......well at least not for real long LOL. keep your chin up it will show back up.
I'd check again with head of mall security or corporate. I can't imagine them not having outside cameras. Security guards could be spotters. If I remember correctly Westminster mall had limited accesss into the lot since the freeway is on one side.
I checked with mall security and they said the only store with outside cameras was the Target store which is on the opposite side of the mall from where i was. The thieves had easy access to the freeway without going by the Target store.
I used to live near there on Brookhurst and Mc Fadden when I was a kid. Call the cops. Chances are it hasn't gone too far. Kids like to joyride and will drive it until it runs out of gas and park it. It's prolly over by the pier in Huntington or at the Harbor drive in..
if you think its in a container in the harbor..I wouldnt waste any time..go there and see if any one will talk..or even look..Its worth a shot..
Bttt. Unfortunately, that is about all the help I can offer. I doubt a tank of gas will get them all the way here. I feel for you, I hope the car owner keeps things in perspective when you finally get ahold of them. Good luck in your search.
We got it posted on the home page in the lastest news section! Hopefully by now it has been located safe and sound!
keeping an eye out in Orange also. When my sister's 66 Mustang was stolen from the Cerritos Mall , it was found partially stripped in Compton the next day. Better than totally disappearing, at least insurance put it back together and painted it.
