Thanks for sharing some amazing artwork.
awesome stuff so far...Watson Rules!
Sharpening the Sharpie skills (or lack there of)
Thanks, Todd! When I do the final, maybe I'll do a Larry Watson paintjob on it.
Awesome Juan. I think the imperfections of the sharpie lend themselves well to the design.....and eventually t shirt printing.
And I remember those funky erasers on your mechanical pencil. They still make them, or is yours "old school.
a.k.a. the Watson-esque style. His name will live on forever.
I agree...I like the slightly imperfect look
I love that car... here is a picture I took with my phone at King of Clubs
Imperfections? You sayin it doesn't look perfect.. haha jk... I'm supposed to be in a Sharpie Art Show later this year so I got a lot of practicing to do!
Not "old school," traditional...
Nothing from me this week, Still working on the cartoon 59 caddy.
But I am posting a drawing my 6 year old, Santana drew of one of his Hot Wheel cars on a track. The drawing was given to a doctor friend of ours who gave him the track as a gift.
Not too bad for 6 years old I think ....
he will live on through all he touched...jalopy
Todd...those are great..jalopy
RIP Larry Watson.....will miss you..
something new..."Back from the War"
I FINALLY got off my ass and got back into making a few tables for projects. This one is the "late model trophy" I made up for the KKOA Salina show. I have another couple of them in the works for customers and another for the Dennison TX KKOA show.
Tough to tell from the pics but the glass top is etched with the KKOA logo.
had some other stuff planned to show, but given the theme behind this weeks show, here's an older LW inspired piece.
Tinpau, the kid rocks.. ( you can see the effort, the imagination, the joy, and the thanksgiving- not to mention the graphic awareness..)
One more for this week. Mr. Norwell's little chariot. Thanks for bringing it down to the Roundup.
