I finally managed to snag a bed for the truck... Now the tail lights are really not doing it for me...
Trying to think of some different styles to recess into the rear fenders...
    Any ideas?

The truck will be a light metallic blue with a silver top.

I'm planning on 64 impala lights on mine. I saw it on another message board and really liked the look. Nice looking truck you have there. Im sure you will find something that you like.

Probably not much of a stretch to envision these in the fenders. I like them but that is probably because they match my hubcaps.

If you are wanting to go into the fender maybe '50 Pontiac or '39 Ford teardrop or the Impala suggestion. Maybe '37 Ford off the stake pocket. One other possibility would be '55.5-'57 Cameo assemblies on the fenders. Early '30's Chevy car ones could work too.

I say like moose says but higher up around the lip on the fender so its easier to see but the 64 impala light around that height also would look decent . 39 fords 1 or 2 of them stacked ( as they are little ) and sideways ??? kind of like this ?? [IMG]

I've been flipping through my pages of different cars and I'm curious how 1963 Ford fairlane lights would look?

Have seen a few with the long style Caddy lights going up and down that looked pretty good. I like the idea of a round light better though, I think the Fairlane and Galaxie lights might be too large. The Impala lights mentioned would be a good choice IMHO, or maybe early 60's Vette lights, maybe even stack a couple of them.

I think those are really neat... But they are like 8 inches in diameter...

    The 64 I said I was liking, I meant the 64 Impala

56-7 Corvette taillights atop of the rear fender and then run the 56-7 exhaust tips at the lower part of the rear fender.

  13. Here's on with duel recessed lights with a rendition of the paint scheme you talked about above...Not sure the 8 inch dia lights would work well at all.
