Hot Rods Steering gear bracket

  1. Following Vern Tardels little Ford Steering book he says to use a finish plate on the outside of the frame rail for support. Here is what I came up with after about 5 hours with simple tools and a piece of 1/4" steel.

    Still about an hour of detail sanding. I couldn't wait to see it on the car.

  4. Thanks Guys. Jay the inliner is staying. It was the first choice the car.
