Hot Rods Steering box squeaks

    How do you grease this steering box?
    What type grease?

    Looks like a Mustnag box. They normally had the sector pointing down, so the lube fill cap is probably on the side now. Personally I'd fill it full of John Deere corn head grease.

    Yup we fill all the manual boxes at work with corn head grease.

    If you use corn head grease it will not leak. It turns into a solid when it is not in motion.
