Started on my 48 Thames today. I got the old front end cut out, and mocked up rearend. I got The front portion of the frame boxed and still have to modify it for the new X member. It is getting a fully polished stainless FatMan stang II IFS with coilovers. Out back it is getting a narrowed 9" rear. I have some 15x3 1/2 Fenton slots up front and 15x 10 out back. 135/80's and 235/60's. I will be mildly tubbing the rear to fit the tires, so it is getting a rear 2x3 tube back half chassis with a triangulated 4 bar with coil overs. Engine will be a mild 350 with a TH 400 trans. I plan to leave the body externally as stock as possible. I will update as I progress. Later , Rusty.

here is the update. Front suspension is pretty well done, I recieved the wrong spindles so they went back. I got the frame pretty well boxed to the point that I plan to build fresh. I got the old rear frame section removed and a temp X member squared and tacked in. New axles are ordered and on the way, I just dropped off the housing tonight. I think it's going to look really bad ass with this rear tire/ mild tub set up. Next is to fab the new rear rails, and then engine and trans install then rearend and rear suspenion set up. Should have that part done in a couple weeks, Still a few car shows before the season is over so my progress is kind of slow. later, Rusty
