********SOLD***************** For sale is an adapter kit and modified starter for pairing a Ford C4 transmission to the late '49-'53 Ford flathead motors. I had bought this kit from Speedway for a project car I was building. I've had some serious medical issues lately and the project won't ever get finished, so I'm selling off this kit. It came from Speedway Motors and is listed in their catalog for $399. Part of the kit is the special nose for the starter, which I have already assembled to a good starter motor. The flex plate is the 157 tooth version. If you've been thinking about putting an automatic transmission in your early Ford or project car, this the kit you need.
