We got to take rides in this roadster. It will surprise you! A great running banger!
@fatkoop - you were fortunate. I was about to get to take it for a spin when it started having electrical problems and wouldn't start. So maybe at HRHC? We'll see. I have been friends with Larry for quite a while. He is a really great guy.
Meanwhile - here is one of you out running around on the salt that I caught from a ways away.
And for you @gsnort and @catdad49 - here is what I have on the Virginia HAMB John Mullen truck
Great pix, as usual. Thanx so much for posting them. Gary
Thanks for the encouragement, Dan. You make a good point. I'll keep working toward that goal. Better later than never!
Dan, field coil in the starter shorted...pushed it off the rest of the week...see you at HRHC

Looking forward to it Larry.

Dan, did you know I'm the driver for the 640 XO/PP pickup?
No I didn't - that must have been a blast? How fast did you end up going?
cool roadster. what are those heads with dual plugs in the transfer area!!
I will check and see if I have a close up @revkev6
A somewhat filthy, but very cool '57 sedan delivery
thanks, google says they are eddie meyers! think it may even be the same car
That very definitely looks like the same engine, @revkev6.
A photo of @winduptoy's nicely modified banger.
I love this truck, bike and trailer combo. I would have loved to have had an unobstructed shot of it.
It was part of the Elmer Equipped camp
Good stuff Dan. I had a great time. Good hanging out with you for a bit.
Thanks Andy (@OL 55). Same here - and it was great meeting Jason too.
Saline Solution 2 - hit 197 at least once, but also seemed to have a few problematic runs.
Thanks for your usual great pics Dan , helps brighten up a winters day down under ...
Really enjoyed the pictures, Thanks for posting
You're very welcome @good captian and @Speedys Garage. Thanks for your comments and for taking the time to check these out. Please check back because there are a lot more coming slowly but surely.
I always enjoy your stuff, Dan. I think you could shoot a trash can and make it sing. Thanks for your coverage.
Thanks Dan from all of us that can't be there.
Your time and efforts are appreciated by many including me. Thank You !
You're welcome and thanks @Chili Phil, @48fordnut, and @wicarnut. Your comments and visits are very much appreciated.
Something else I really did not expect to see there was this very cool 1927(?) or so Dodge. If anyone knows this car and the exact year, I would love to know that. By late on Sunday, the skies were pretty much white due to smoke haze, but I do kinda like the surreal look it gave. The light was fantastic, especially for dark cars like this one.
Good stuff again Dan as usual, thanks for all the effort and time put in.
