Hot Rods Speaking of...."The engine that Chevy Should have built......."

I wan monitoring a thread earlier and somebody posted the 'old' article about the engine that Chevy shoulda.......
I read that many moons ago and found it fascinating!!
Have ANY of you learned Shivel-lay guyz ever built that engine? Or know someone that did??!
This was during the long debated theory about 'long rods' (non sexual) and the extended dwell time at TDC...
Just wonder IF....anybody besides a Hot Rod/PHR editor ever built one!!
