Technical Source for 15” steel Chevy wheels

    Pick up four old riveted 15" Chevy wheels, grind off the rivets and remove the centers from the hoops or shells. Buy four hoops or shells from Speedway in the size you want and either weld them or have them welded together..

    We call them rims but hoops and shells seem to be the popular name..

Three are Kelsey Hayes and fourth is the exact same but I surmise a Chevrolet service replacement.

    I have a set of 5 matched 15X5 welded steel wheels, all dated July of 56. Perfect for 56 to 60 Corvette or 55/56 passenger cars. They're for sale if anyone is interested.
