The Soul Survivor NITRO Comp Coupe started out as a 1967 era Don Long dragster found the dragster in a barn in Indiana... It took four years to finish. The telling signs that it's a Don Long are the design of the chassis especially at the roll cage area, the brake master cylinder mount , the fuel tank and the front suspension. There was a article on the Don Long constructed dragster from the 1966/67 era entitled the "Old Master".. the chassis we have is almost identical to that one. Unfortunately there was no chassis tag. The front "nose" of the body and cowl section are original, The Fiat Comp Coupe body and other body parts were custom made. Pat helped in the design of the body as he was not happy with the body he had used in the construction of the Frank Pedergon coupe.
