My nephew wanted to get the 57 Chev running today. We had dropped the distributor into place before we installed the 350 in the car. Well it was a bit off. He tryed to reset it while I ran in town and he forgot to disconnect the battery!!! So there he is with a dist. in his hand and Holley 750 full of fuel...Then The Spark! He got such a "flash burn" . Just a Heads Up for our members Young or Old...disconnect the battery!!!
I left the ignition switch on on a car once when I was removing the distributor and had it explode in my face.Blew both valve covers off.Something you only need to learn once.
