This car is a perfect example of Kirk's thread on cool. Either it has it or it don't. This car don't with a capital T. It looks like it was built by a comitee. Everyone got to pick one modification, and never talked to each other. But some schmuck will buy it just because of who owned it. Craig
i think this car sold a couple months back on ebay, and the person that bought it probably thought it would be cool and a good investment buying a car from a celebrity. but now that Billy killed someone this person doesnt want to have anything to do with the car and what it represents, just a thought. but since were talking about cars on ebay and i dont want to start a thread on it. will someone on here please buy this car!! i would if i had the money, its only $10k and its not gay like that T http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-coupe-5-window-1934-ford-coupe-street-rod-hot-rod-5-window-coupe_W0QQitemZ160036673997QQihZ006QQcategoryZ6057QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Everytime I hear his name I get pissed off. 2 days before he killed that guy, a friend of mine was hit by a drunk driver. Left behind a wife and 2 kids.
if we are going to start trash talking.....lets at least keep this post about the car... the way those split bones are just looks ugly , im no expert so not sure how safe/unsaft it is.
I like the car but the exhaust is real ugly... looks like he stole some parts off of a souped up Honda to build it. I'm surprised that it didn't sell.
This guy just bought this T a month or two back on ebay for 16k+-----either he's unhappy with the car or no longer a Billy fan either. Marcy
I used to work with the guy who brought this awful thing to Ohio. It originally was a Road Zombies car from out of Cali. that had some potential. The guy who bought it from him lived in Cincinnati and was a billet/fiberglass street rod fanatic whose father had recently passed away, so he had a bunch of spending cash. He saw the car on eBay and thought it was the coolest thing in the world and wanted "to be apart of the rat rodders community"... (direct quote from him) So he bought it for 15k! Then paid another grand to have it shipped here. The thing was in horrible shape when he got it. It needed some serious frame work. The only thing connecting the front end to the rear end was the body. The frame had cracked in half and was sagging, it was not running right. Lets just say, it had issues. I did not want to work on it for various reasons and he could not find anyone else that had any idea of what "traditional rodding" was about to work on it. So he took it to his friend who owned a local import tuner shop. That explains the god-awful exhaust! (which he thought was the coolest thing) He removed the 3x2 intake for a 4bbl and cal-custom covers for some cheap chrome ones and also wanted to take out the 4-speed for an auto. (no sense of style) Needless to say, he invested alot of money for it to be ruined even more at that shop and then decided to sell it on ebay. It went for around 9k (?) to "Billy Lane". When Billy showed up, it was really his friend named "Billy Velvet" and off it went to be painted, mildly changed and resold again on ebay with the Choppers Inc. logo. It was not built by Billy, it was just displayed at his booth for various shows. There is some info and history as far as I know about it.....
Well another stupid Comment and story, with a person that dosent know a thing about what there talking about. This is like 3 wrong stories all balled up into one screwed up...I dont even know what. This is a completely different car.I should know.
