Finally pieced the front end together-spring behind thru bones on a stock 46 axle. Still gotta get the spring pack right..think ill run out of travel once the body and everything are on.
trying the headlights up high for a bit of a fourties look, any opinions? I kinda think two inches lower might work better.
The rear is just hung on the spring sofar, Going to set up a triangulated four bar that looks like split rear bones from the side.
Front tyres were the swap score of the year so far...brand new 5.50 16s, $110 pair! they retail for about $450pr here.
Next is rear end and brakes....

What is your legal headlight minimum height?

  13. legal = 600mm (2') from ground to centre of headlight..

I say cheat, fit cowl lights, call them head lights, and the ones up front are 'fog' lights, then you can have them as low as you want.....
