Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by STRCOMP, Nov 17, 2010.

  1. Bored at lunch thought I'd post a few cars we did or are working on!
The black Sedan just came in. It was wacked by a deer.

what's the blue car behind the sprint car?

  7. The blue car is a Lister replica. They were hand built aluminum Formula 1 cars in the 50"s. 2100 pds 60%-40% weight distribution nice tires & big brakes. Fun car. I'll post some pics with the correct wheels on it instead of the vette wheels in that picture.

I like the 38 or 39 pick up. Good work! What motor/tranny does the Lister have?

  9. It's a SBC 383 with a AZ Speed fuel injection system that looks like the old mechanical vette injection unit.
I have some better pics on a different computer & will post those but here is two more.

Agreed. That 39 Ford truck is a perfect color. Thanks for the info! And great pics. Keep up the good work.

  15. Your right my mistake. They raced in sports car support races at some F1 events & were very successful.
Anyway I have to be careful! Don't want any shameless self promotion!

  16. HAHA I just saw the thread aimed at this one too! NO big deal...you are proud of your work and wanna show it off, it's fun to look at the projects. Now...if you did it everyday and kept bumping it...thats another thing.
