I commented on doing another custom truck for him would mean he'd have two of essentially the same thing. Just one Chevy, the other Ford. So, why not do something different? "Like what" he says. GASSER. A description was laid out, as much period correct for early '60s as possible. And the order was given........ 1956 Chevy Shortbed Stepside 1959 Stroked, Blown, Injected 394 Olds Rocket MoPar A833 Hemi 4 Speed Hurst Shifter FoMoCo 9" with HRCC Housing. 44" Ladder Bars Chrome Reverse out back wrapped in Radir 10.0 x 15 Radir Twin Ribs up front with M&H Front Runners Humble, misbegotten beginnings:

The Black Pearl is on here somewhere. But I can't find the thread. It was in TRK last Summer. Sometimes you luck out with a customer.
Me too. It's the first one we've done (truck gasser). Should be loads of fun. We hope to have it at the Heads Up.
Zombie came through for us again. Another awesome rendering. The original has real gold leaf in the letting on the doors. Just fantastic.
