1932 Ford Sedan Restored in the 80’s Stored since the 90’s

Original 1932 Ford Sedan in great condition. The previous owner bought and restored the car in the 80’s. Prior to that it had been in storage in Louisville, KY since the 50’s. He drove it to the first Louisville Street Rod Nationals in 1988 as a stocker. Sometime in the 90’s he pulled the running 21 stud motor and was in the process of installing a 59AB when he died. The car remained in storage like that until last year.

The sheet metal is very nice. We have been over the entire body and can find no signs of rust or old repairs. The driver side fenders are straight with good lips. The passenger side rear has a small ding in the lip and a small repair to the innner lip. The passenger side front fender also has a repair to the inner lip. Good original hood opens and closes with no binding and the louvers are all straight. Original grill shell and insert. The doors shut solidly. Other than paint and reproduction running boards the body appears to be all original.

The interior looks to be 1932 original. The upholstery is worn but functional. The headliner has some holes, stains and sags. Missing front floorboard. All windows operate smoothly as does the key and steering column lock. Nice dash and gauges.

Chassis is clean with no damage other than old repair to the center of the front cross member. All 4 shocks are on but rears are missing arms. The mechanical brakes work well and even the parking brake still holds. The transmission is 1932. Has the 5 original 18” wire wheels in good shape with good 5.50x18 tires.

It is hard to find an original car in this good of condition. It has obviously spent most of its life inside in dry storage. Will make a great car left as is, restored or hot rodded.

We also have the 21 stud motor that was removed in the 90’s and the 59AB flathead that was going in. The 21 stud motor is a 1933-1936, not a 1932. Either or both motors are available to buyer for extra funds.

New title was obtained in November 2017 and is current and correct.

Always happy to work with international buyers. If you intend to buy additional parts you can ship them to my shop and I will secure them inside the car for shipping.
