Hot Rods Socal finned 9” drum covers

Hey all - just wondering if anyone is running the Socal rear drum covers made to look like Buick finned brakes on their 9” rear? I’m using the Boling Brothers setup on the front which are great but pricey and thought I’d run the covers on the back so they all match without having to redo my whole rear setup which is otherwise working well - but I’ve got an 8” and didn’t know if they’d work. Also I worry it might push the wheels too far out - any feedback from people running them would be greatly appreciated, cheers

 

I think your 8 inch rear has 10 inch drums and the So-Cal cover is designed for the 11 inch drums. They only push the wheel out about 1/4 of an inch.
