OK boys and girls. Let's dig through our boxes of stickers and goodie drawers to find some neat stuff. This seems like an easy request.

  10. I've got some older ones as well. will drop in the mail over the weekend.

  11. Interesting, Crestmead is about 15 minutes from me..

Perhaps some Southside Brissy HAMBers could organise a bit of a cruise for this kid for his birthday?

I hate to sound like I don't trust this story but it sounds familiar. Seems like I have seen this before a couple years ago. But I could be wrong. Willing to help if it is legit.

Maybe he needs a model or two!

  20. a have to agree with paul on this it does ring familiar with me also. someone here from the states send email to get correct address and date of kids birthday and them let one of the local hambers make a "surprise charity drop off" with camera in tow.

Yea, she's not asking for money, just stickers.
I can see it now, Australian women corners the E Bay market for hot rod stickers.

  23. I would hope this is the real deal. I just don't know if this woman realizes what she's got herself into. This kid is gonna have soo many stickers. He's gonna put em on anything he can find. Our aunts in TX have owned a bridal shop all our lives...and I'm pretty sure it's the only bridal shop where ALL of the sewing machines are covered in Garbage Pail Kids stickers!!:D

  24. Hey 28A, I am more than happy to drop some extra stickers I have in the mail along with a few extra wrenches and things I have triples of to start filling his toolbox. But I would like to know they are going to a legit, bored, 13 year old kid as opposed to some scammer.

As they are about 15 minutes from you would you mind running over there when you get a chance and double-checking for us? We would greatly appreciate the effort on your part..

    James

I dunno about this. It sounds like one of those Nigerian scams to me.
