So i buy an old dragster chassis laying in a back yard.

    I think I would use as many of the period correct parts that were still useable and build an entirely new chassis under them. In the long run it will be more fun and less risk.

    i meant without chassis certification. But yes, ultimately i agree: If tech says it's not safe to race, then you can't race.


    2) How was the rear part of the chassis formed?


    3) i think the other question is, what was the original intent when purchasing the chassis?

    Persistent aren't you:D I would asume set up on a chassis jig and bent with a tubeing bender, is that what your asking? Tim Jones
