You are doing a fantastic job on this Kustom. It will really have that late 40's early 50's feel to it. I can hardly wait to get back on my 40 Merc.

    It looks fantastic Chad.

Every new update photo post is a joy to look at. Great improvements each time. And its really great to see the an early style Custom Car to be built with so much perfection and sence for details.

  13. Looks great Chad! Keep it up.

There will be no scallops on the finished car. I had the gold scallops there last summer, it was kinda cool, but the final version of the car will be a late 40's style custom, and scallops just wouldnt be period correct.

The car will be painted maroon, shiny of course.

Thank you all for your compliments, they mean so much. I think about this car all day long, and then loose sleep over it at night, its always good to get some third party input to know I'm on the right track.

    Thanks,
Here are some side views. The first one is from almost two years ago, just after I got it home from the chop (The chop is the only metalwork/bodywork I did not do myself), its the best side profile shot I have.

And this is current (a week ago), though not as much of a dead on side profile. The rounded door corner still needed some fine tuning on the gap in this shot.

  27. Not bad for short door-haha!! Lookin really good as usual Chad. Nice to see a custom get done RIGHT. For those who don't know, Chad REALLY gives a shit about what a custom car should look like, and it shows. Keep up the good work. D.

Oh boy, I just found this old pic on my computer. Figured I'd ad it to this thread. It seems like forever ago (3 years now since I first bought the car, in this state).
