It was a great day to get out of the house! The apartment is an Air bnb so keep it mind if you come to town for the HAMB Drags.

My Dad was born in 1922 so he was about 10 to 12 years old when they were in the papers a lot. When the movie came out I asked him if he remembered hearing about Bonnie & Clyde. He said all he remembered was what a big deal it was when they got killed in 34. The best public enemy story he had was when Dillinger stopped a a local country store here in southern Ohio and didn't pay for gas and a couple bottles of pop.

Mom told me when she was little one of my uncle's and John Dillinger stole car parts and tried to hide them in my Uncle Tonys barn till he caught them and wore them both out. Dillinger and Arch were teens at the time. Dillinger gave my Mom a doll that my sister still has.

  15. Cool! Nice stance on your A-bone. Somewhere in my stuff I have a copy of the letter Clyde Barrow wrote to Henry Ford, telling Ford what a great car the new V/8 ford was and that anytime he could get his hands on one, he took it.

I had a steak at Dillinger's on McLoughlin in Clackamas once. Probably not related. They did have showers to keep everyone clean and germ free.

Car looks really good. You picked a good place to take a photo. I am just finishing the last touches on my Ford project. Waiting for MOKAN to open so that I can give a go, and answer the question whatilshedo .

I recently watched the movie "The Highwaymen" about the hunt for Bonnie and Clyde, by the Texas Rangers. A good flick.
