Small group leaving Tulsa area Friday evening

Hot damn.....it is finally here. The best damn drag event on the planet!

We have a very small group (like 4 cars at the moment) leaving the Tulsa/Claremore area Friday around 5pm for Joplin. Anyone wanting to tag along in a convoy with us is more than welcome.

We'll be rolling out Friday also but we're leaving a bit earlier in hopes of hitting the Springfield swap.

We'll see ya there anyway.

I hit the Sonic a couple times on Sunday but you weren't there.

 

Sorry I can't split earlier. My Dad is going up there and doesn't get home until just before 5.

I hit that Sonic gig about once a month. I joined that club, and haven't been to a meeting since. Figured I might be banned! LOL

Let me know when you are going up there next and I will be sure to be there.

I think our room is next door at the Comfort In in Joplin. We will be hanging in the lot tomorrow night...seeya there.

We are leaving this evening so we can get to the Swapmeet first thing in the morning. We have some stuff to dump off at my brother's spots before we walk the meet. Planning on being back at the hotel tomorrow evening. I'll be looking for you guys!

There will be a small group of us meeting at the Cherokee Casino at noon tomorrow if anybody wants go with us. Actually, I think it may be the Waffle House or something right in front of the casino. Just look for the truck and trailers. The boys will be standing around BS'ing and I'll be toe tapping the asphalt trying to get them on the road! I got 6 point beer to buy and it ain't in Catoosa!!!
