    Howdy All,
I have a 56 international pickup which I have put a 265 Hemi six and three speed manual box in.
It's a fresh motor with about 20,000 miles on it.
Whenever I start it it takes about 30 seconds for oil pressure to buildup.
No knocking noises and once it climbs its fine sitting on about 60 when cold and drops back to around 20 when hot and been running for awhile.
I have tried few different oil filters with no difference and have used oil recommended by local speed shop.
I'm thinking of maybe using thinner oil.
What do all you knowledgeable guys think. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1371343833.873498.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1371343873.555756.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1371343893.239461.jpg

  6. hmm , ok . Sometimes a mechanical can be a little slower to register depending on where it's plumbed to and how long since the engine was last run .
