I've got a '64 Olds Dynamic 88 with a bad (Slim Jim) trans. The local tranny shop said they had one on the shelf so they built it. I pick it up and compared it to the one in the car and they have simillar atributes but are not the same. I did some research and found the he built one out of a Pontiac. My question is will it bolt up to the 394 in the Olds? Thanks in advance. Rich

why aren't you asking the guy in the tranny shop? If it doesn't fit YOUR car - he owes you a refund

No. I've got one from a '61 Pontiac, and it's got an integral bell housing. The Pontiac pattern is way different from '49-'64 Oldsmobile.
