slightly O/T ART SHOW in Dallas 10-28-05

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by hamilton, Sep 29, 2005.

  1. Hey art fans! I've been laying low from the Friday art show for a while preparing, but I'm ready to go....and I have hot rods in my work so that makes this slightly on/off topic!

I just wanted to remind you about my one man show at the end of October.

    “Paint By Hamilton”
    New Work Opening
    Friday October 28, 2005
    6pm-10pm

    Mad River Post
    3900 Willow St.
    Suite 200
    Dallas, TX

After 105 nights of slinging paint after work, 384 square feet of wood and gallons of sweat and just a little paint, I’m proud to display 16 NEW pieces of wackiness!

The good folks at Mad River are great hosts making this night the ultimate after-work hangout! We’ll have “cold” refreshments (wink, wink), eats and tunes available! I’ll also have prints for sale and a little raffle to help with the show costs, where you could walk away with one of these biggies for a couple of bucks!

There’s a map and a few teaser pics at www.waykoolart.com

Hope to see you there, and if not, check the website after the show for more pics from the night.

    Thanks!

    Hami

Is there gonna be any real art there, or is it just your stuff?

Also...the gallery is literally right next door to my shop, so if anyone would like to stop by before or after the show to see what we are working on, you are more than welcome.

Cool, COuld I come get a autograph. I did not realize we were going to be so close to the Bass Holy Land, I will bring a Sharpie for the occasion

  13. Yeah, in all the craziness of organizing the art show and PNP (am I nuts or what?) I left out the important detail that Bass's garage is right at the entrance of the art show....perfection! Man, talk about being buzzed! You can go from the scent of gasoline to the scent of paint, in one night! I'm woozie, I tells ya!

thanks for the nice words too.....
