This site does not help my bad hot rod habit at all! Thanks Elrod for the inspiration with your killer banger A....mine is coming! Almost finished the front. Have not done the rear yet. Keeping the mechanical brakes. Using 35 front brakes. Have 16" Ford steel wheels to be put on. More to come....
I am in love. There is something about a stock or close to Model A that just kills me. It something that no other car in stock form (not even a Deuce) can compete with and I stand by the fact that it's one of the prettiest things I have laid my eyes on. Cool!
Thanks for the compliments! Chris, your car is another one that caused this! Something about a unchopped fendered A that sits low....awesome. Try to get more pics up after work. Thanks guys!
You have got to put up more pics. Everytime Ive seen a stock Model A Ive wnated to see it lowered but still ahve all the looks. Thats sweet. More pics and a tech write up is needed. This is like looking at a girls clevage...as it is nice I want to see all of it now...thats sweet!
I thought you knew Chris, That's why I stocked up on T springs. Gonna be watching this thread right along with you.
Thanks guys! Chris, I got a T rear spring for it. I beleive it's a 26 or 27. It's an 8 leaf. I'm doing what you guys have already done....homework has been done and I appriciate it!
Oh yeah...thats cooler than eskimo balls buddy. You going to do anything else or thats it? I mean its cool as is just wondering..just in case I decide to rape myslef now or later looking at this....
Yo Whitey Ford, your funny as hell man! Thanks for the compliments! I'm undicided on removing the bumpers, the spare is coming off the rear and I have 16 7.50 for the rear and 16 5.50 for the front on ford steel wheels. The tires are white walls. May also do a dropped headlight bar. No other plans other than driving it!
That is one of the best looking cars on this site, hands down. There is definitely some truth to the statement less is more.
No chop, I really dig the stock roof with a lowered chassis. Not that I don't like a chopped A, just not mine.
BOTH Coupes look GREAT! Chris, your Coupe is the one I was thinking of when I posted a reply on the Leatherback '28 thread. I may have to do the same mods to Dad's '31 Roadster.
