Skoog Special 27 roadster build!

I like it. It looks more track than tractor!

 

Josh , nick and I laid out the recess the other night and I started cutting the panel above the trunk. I will post pics soon.

It's a work in progress . Adds about 4" of leg room.

Diggin it! The nose shape is very nice. I think I'd cut out all the bars and the center strip and make an insert for it though.

 

This is really coming together!! Excellent work and I'm really digging' that nose!! Can't wait to see more!!

 

so tonight I decided to tackle the ugly back corners of the body

 

i started by tacking some bar stock to the existing curve.

 

then took a bit of sheet stock and cut the basic shape and domed it slightly with a dolly.

 

needs a little bit of body working but getting close

dick b came over to hang out and try it on for size.

 

So tonight I scored this old dash panel for $20. No idea what it is but it looked like it might fit.

 

after some hackin it looks like a winner. Even an insert I got from Pete fits it and the steering not is in the right spot.
