  1. They were there a few years ago, I haven’t been by there in a while. I didn’t take pictures when I was in there, there was a lot of stuff, mostly parts cars but it would be a shame if they were crushed. The old guy wouldn’t sell anything for a half reasonable price.

  3. There have been a few crafty folks who have taken the later Lark Convertible parts and grafted them into a 53-55 Studebaker Coupe with relative ease!!! And I believe one of the James Bond books mentions Felix Leiter driving a Studillac convertible :D

This would make an awesome speedster. Like some of the early ones which seemed larger than life.

Austin sedan at an old, closed wrecking yard not far from Melbourne. Most of the other cars are too new for here. 071.JPG

1964 (or earlier) Vauxhall Victor at the same old, closed wrecking yard, outside Melbourne. 045.JPG They were an English GM car, sold in Oz and competing, in a sense, with the local Holden (GM) cars. Maybe they were assembled in Oz?

  28. What's relly sad as it might be a R3 car - the son alluded to it being a 304 motor he heard - there was a Supercharged bonnet in the front seat with a cast into it - R3. Couldn't get the driver's door open for the vin or to get the hood open.

The little Daytona was built up to run at some point......
