How about a 56 Premier...loaded, originally lavender and white. Skirts are inside.

Plus it has factory A.C. Or did at one time. Notice the ventilation tubes in the rear window.

I spotted this really cool 40 Sedan Delivery over the summer ... Owners wife said her husband (passed) had removed the motor / trans and dash for a A Roadster P/up he was building. (Already sold) to a family member.
This isn’t for sale at the moment but she said she would call if she decide it was time. Fingers crossed
Love the hand painted wheels. [IMG][IMG]

Also sitting near the Delivery was this 1932 Commercial / Doodlebug (not for sale) it was her late husbands pride and joy.
[IMG] I was told this was a Worthington Tractor Conversion on IG.

Thank you for clarifying. I never really knew the difference.
I want it just as bad.

  18. Very easy to tell the difference between the '40-'41 112" wheelbase panel truck and the sedan delivery if you know what to look for. A panel truck is the same thing as a pickup from the cowl forward. A sedan delivery is the same thing as a '40 Standard car from the cowl forward ('41 sedan deliveries use '40 body and chassis. Panel truck has a truck dash, sedan delivery has a passenger car dash. Panel truck has the flat firewall like '40-'47 trucks. Sedan delivery firewall is the same as '40 car. Sedan delivery front doors are same as '40 4 door sedan. Panel truck has the raised beltline stamped into the door skin like a truck. Panel truck has pickup truck front sheet metal, sedan delivery has passenger car front sheet metal. All of the sedan deliveries I ever saw were Standards, don't know if they made any '40 Deluxe sedan deliveries. My guess is they did, perhaps special order, maybe a funeral home wanted one for a flower car or something, it would have been easy enough for Ford to assemble one--just put in a Deluxe dash and steering wheel and give it a Deluxe hood, grille, and hubcaps. Ford did build some one-off special orders.

  19. And he main way to tell a 40-41 commercial is the centre trim on the hood. 41 has the wider trim as above. JW

^^^ What's the story on these? Stored in a barn that collapsed? The Model A ('29 Murray town sedan?) in the last photo looks like it was in fair shape and has not been outside too long, judging by the paint and intact windows.

In 1982 there was a land slide that washed them over a hundred yards away. Almost made it to the river the man lost everything piled them back up and this is far as they made it. They were in a garage in perfect shape before the land slide.

Is that a commercial / open truck cowl with the impossible to find windshield to cowl filler?
