Sitting and rotting 1961 Starliner

My friend and I went scrounging around today. This FE powered, 3spd floor shifted jewell is sitting and rotting. The body is extremely rusted.

 

What a shame. Thats my favorite coupe

 

And of course the owner is "going to restore it".

 

Now THAT is just way wrong.

 

No restoration some day but got the it's a runner line. I suspect the car will come apart but I will be trying to remove its resting spot this spring

 

What a tragedy. Is there enough left to give some clean, six-cylinder Fairlane a new, more-exciting life?

 

Do cars, similar to this one ,that are almost completely rusty through and through worth anything even at a scrap yard?

 

man , now why did ya have to go and post those pics i want a 61 starliner SOOOO freakin BAD and this goof ball is letting one sit and rot

 

Shame.. 60-61 Starliners are really cool.......
