A more-or-less local site called Vintage Rods was based in Alberta. It was dedicated to Old School rods, great site. Got a virus and couldn't get rid of it, so it shut down. There wasn't enough traffic on it to make it worthwhile to spend the time and money to clear it up. Too bad, great bunch of guys over there. I met a few when they came and bought some old iron over the years. I think the same thing happened to the Flat Black board from BC, i haven't been able to find it lately, either.
Not sure what the point of virus's are. But I bet the mechanics of the limp-wristed hackers see the confusion in their eyes and charge them extra for windshield regulators and inner tubes. RIP VR. Thanks Rod!
