Is it ok to drive a car if the rear springs are taken out? I took them out yesterday just to see how low the car would be(1959 chevy 4 door) and today I'm hakerin' to drive it. I'm too lazy and want to drive the car while it's low are why I don't just put them back in.
    Thanks

  2. i believe a `59 chevy has coil springs..what would hold the car up? is there some sort of bumpstop between the top of the axle and bottom of the frame?

i don't see how this would work

Sure, go for a spin, but it's gunna ride real rough, and if you hit a big bump,
it might knock your last tooth out.
