Event Coverage Silver City Shakedown May 29, 2021

Silver City Shakedown presented by the OTHERS C.C. Saturday May 29 , 2021 at The PBA 94 Birdsey Avenue Meriden,CT 06450. Pre-'65 traditional hot rods and customs only. STRICTLY ENFORCED. Gates open at 10am. $10 per person. Bands,DJ,Burlesque show,vendors and food. Come help The Others C.C. celebrate 10 years of The Silver City Shakedown.

 

Happy to see this and looking forward to being there at what has been a great event! Nice to see some events making it back.

Conflict with the Berlin Fire Dept show on the turnpike.

The Shakedown is pre 65 rods/customs. The Berlin Fire Dept show per their website has a mixture.

 

I understand but I go with 2 others, one with a stock 26T coupe and the other with a 31 wide bed Budd cab Model A p/up and a 29 blind back. I used to have a Model A but now have a 40 Coupe. We, like others sit around and solve all worldly problems.

No rain date. It is rain or shine,so therefore it's on like Donkey Kong.

 

Weather is not looking good for the Silver City Shakedown. Not officially cancelled. Looks like a decision will be made early in the morning on weather to cancel.
