My '32 has a hand written signature scrawled on the dash. It looks to have been there for years. I don't know who it is, or if it's someone of interest. Looking for help figuring it out if possible. The car is a piss yellow '32 5-window...so who knows??
Oooo...a mystery. Can you give us some history on the car? When was it built? Where did it grow up? Did it race? Details...???
As far as I know it was originally built in the early 70's, un-chopped, un-channeled, painted white with flames from cowl back. The engine is a "63 or '64 327, solid lifters and lumpy cam, 400 TH, and a '65 or so Corvette rear. The guy I got it from bought it in Minnesota about 1979 or so. It got turned into this shortly after that. I bought it about 2 1/2 years ago. '32 by cavman posted Dec 11, 2013 at 10:07 PM
That info. may help ring a bell for some of the guys here that may have come across your car during its history. It seems we can rule out a racing history here. So I doubt it was a famous driver or race builder who was involved with it. Knowing a bit of where it came from can maybe help pinpoint if it was a local hero that had signed it at some point. It may have gone to a swap meet and some person of interest signed it there. I know Paul LeMat travels around doing that--met him once--but that ain't him. Hmm....
