I recently bought the "Tuesday Night Tub" from Sawzall and I pretty much have it finished in my head.

But show me pics of the coolest Model A tubs you've seen.

  2. I own a Tub, always dug them. One of the best came from Greg Fleury (might have speeld that wrong) out of Prior Lake Minnesota back in the late 80s. His was real close to what you bought with a rollbar and a wicked mill. Look in the 86-88 STREET RODDERS. I am packing up the house to move and if I see the issue I will post pics..............cool man, that tub you bought rocks, congrats!

    Thanks

Yeah, Tman, I'm happy as hell with it. Those guys (sawzall and tokyo) did a great job.

    Any other pics?

Grumpy, You must have a 20 car garage. It seems about every couple of weeks you've got a new project. I thought when we came down for you and Donzie to swap cars it was an unusual event. Boy, was I wrong. Just as long as they keep getting cooler, that's all that matters. Let's see some pictures.

Here's a rickety old TUB of bolts for ya!!! :D

(1929 Model A tub originally built by Donzie, now equipped with W-motorvation and owned by Flaw'd here on the HAMB...it's still a 'work in progress' though!)

  9. That pic was taken at the First HAMB drags! Ron has been a family friend since before I was born. I had the priviledge to start his latest project, 1933 Doge Cabriolet.

That T Tub is a blast to drive and it does get driven regularly! It was featured in Street Rodder magazine quite a few years ago.

I'd like to see those pics. When I had finished this drawing, someone said it reminded them of Greg's A. Well, to this day, I'm still looking for a pic of Greg's car to see what it looked like.

I guess I didn't save any pics of the blue tub. Anyone have any?

Here's a few shots of the one I sold. Yes, this is before it was "Flaw'd". :D

First shot is in it's original version.
Next is with some old headlights I found at a swap meet.
3rd photo, same as first but showing off Hatch's handy work on the tailights.
Next is with the '32 shell I traded fab32 the headlights for.
The next one is a never-before-seen shot with the custom grille.
And lastly, be careful. Tubs are real "Chick Magnets (tm)"

Thanks, but I wonder what that person was talking to me about? It's not fendered. They must have been referring to the fender well bead having a similar shape to my fender.

I remember the car now, it was one of the forerunner cars of the colored primer rebirth. I even saved a mag picture of it because I liked the purple shade of the primer.
