I am planning a trip to San Diego in January and would like to peek in a couple custom or rod shops if any available. Also plan to pop across the border, wondering if there is any old car activity there. Also wonder about personal safety in Tijuana. Any ideas and input are welcome.

There is no reason to go to TJ. No good or moral reasons anyway.

btt Some one must know about Tijuana and if there are any shops???????

  6. There's shops down there and quite the car scene down in Tijuana. @magoozi's shop is down there. You should PM him. If anyone would know of places to check out on either side of the border it would be him. You should also check out this documentary on the history of the lowriding scene in San Diego and Tijuana plus a feature on the Bean Bandits. It references plenty of cool places to checkout in the area.
