Here is my piece of Ssssssssssssssss...shoebox! %% Fairlane Club Sedan
Shoebox = '49 - '51 Ford!
heres a pic of my work in progress 50 its slowly getting .....somewhere
its for sale
Here's mine, hopefully ready next year!!!
thanks!!, the tires are goodyear super cushions. 6.70 x 15
'51 Shoebox powered by a '58 Hemi. I drove it from AR to NC last summer...ran like a champ
Here are some more recent pics of my car. These are just after I installed the new windows without the vent windows.
I'm 1 month into my shoebox. Love this thread.
Did he run over that...uh...mailbox? Driveway light? Brick shit?
i'm getting a 49 4 door shoebox early next year. does anyone know the diffrence in the wheel base of a 2 door sedan? and are the doors longer on the two door?
Mine had an accident
But returned a little different
Is the Inglese injection? How do you like it?
It's Hilborn injected--has amazingly quick throttle response and gets respectable gas mileage as well. I'm having trouble tuning the butterfly valves on it and Hilborn hasn't been much help in this area either. I do think the Chrysler corporation of the 1950's would've approved of my choice over a carb...enter the Bendix Electrojector
The light blue? shoe box top middle is a great looking piece.
I would love to call that mine!
If you liike shoebox's , don't miss this thread....
here's mine........Ford of coarse, owned both a shoebox and 55-57 chevs and never heard chevs called a shoebox until recently,,,,,,have always heard Ford called shoe box since back in the 50's.........but what do I know....it must be a generation thing
in the process of baggin mine.
Here's mine in 1964 and today. Hope to have it on the road in 2011.
MAN! That's one FINE RIDE!
Holy crap - that woodie is bitchin' !
Here's one I help build. Good friend of mine.
The wheels & mirrors are a bit much for me , but those things aside , it sure is a nice-looking '50 to ME !
My 57 cad that right now doesn't look very "hamb friendly" as some say here. But The paint is how it was when I got it and I'll take care of that after some other projects, I just finished getting this cad streetable and the seat cover I made just because the upholstery needs to be done and that like the paint has to wait.
Great thread! Thanks to everyone for sharing their photos.
My little work in pprogress.
Nice Caddy, but definitely not a Shoebox...
Here's mine last time I was able to get it out.
Dear k and k Your cad though nice is no shoe box
