  7. Woah! I´m shocked - though after everything else you´ve done, I don´t know why I should be!

Can you chuck a fin back on there to give us a better idea of how it´ll end up? This is making my head spin.

I think you have probably designed at least six really cool looking - and above all different - kustom shoeboxes during this build. You could have stopped at any point and finished it off and had a really great car, but you just keep on going! I should draw some of these up. Maybe seeing some of your ideas will inspire others to go the extra yard.

This car came to mind when I was writing with a friend about your project...

...not the same and yours will be much better styled.
But Ralph Fisher's The Dragon has a lot in common. I never cared about this car in color, but these black and white photos that where posted on the hamb some time ago look pretty nice.
A color photo of the car in bright pink can be seen in the Barris Kustoms of the 1950's book.

Looks like Rikster found pictures of this car already finished. :D

Kustom7777 - I "get it" but I also think proportions are critical and 5" out of the back and none up front is a little radical - in my opinion. Not that it means anything. It may work perfectly with the fins back on. You've got balls beyond comprehension man... keep it up. ;)

I kinda hope you never finish this car cause I love seeing one man continue to make
changes and cutting shit up to make it better...its amazing what an eye for early customs you have...

For real tho I can't wait to see it done... I'm sure it will be one of the coolest customs
to be built in a long time...

    cut more :D

Wow! this is a kustom with a "K". I respect the vision but maybe you should've just started with 56 Merc! I might be wrong but from my eye it's starting to resemble one...

    very cool none the less

You, sir, have gone mad!! But I am thoroughly enjoying the ride! With all of the transformation the ford has endured, might I suggest a name like, "Mariposa"?:D I dig it and can't wait for more!

Ask TeddyP about sanding around louvers. He has a great method for doing it...

i know you definitely get it,,,,
from your previous posts i know you have good taste,,
i havent made the cuts in the top area of the door yet,,take another look after i do that and see if you think it looks more proportionate,,keep in mind the car will also sit lower when is all said and done,,which will definitely have an effect on the overall look,,,,

  26. I have never seen a car change directions so many times in such a short amount of time. It is getting wilder and wilder by the day!
