When rebuilding the front suspension in a shoebox do you just inspect the threads on the steel bushings and if they're good and not out of tolerance just clean em and throw them back together? I looked up new ones with the entire shaft assembly and they were about 150 bucks a pop.

I pulled mine apart, cleaned em, inspected the threads and everything appeared good. All I was gonna do is replace the zerk fittings and grease boots. Anyone know where you can get just the grease boot or something comparable? I already looked at McMaster Carr.

Thanks Extremist. That price is a hell of alot better than Napa or Kragen's B.S. "rare parts" brand. Add the word rare and suddenly the actual price multiplies by three.
