Congrats, what an outstanding hot rod, love love love it
I was through Toronto Saturday morning, didn't see you! Car looks good, should be fun with the 60 in there.
WOW! Not one but TWO 26-27 T Stop lights, that is one very nice T, lots of nice features. Bob
New hoses, new fluid, same brakes, run it. Cool car.
This is a very cool car. Any pics of the engine? Would be interesting to hear exactly what year the brake parts are from if you end up needed replacement shoes.
Its great to see a T. They seem to have disappeared.
Is that a model A axle?
Why change the brakes? just drive it.
Is it a T frame?
I have a 26 coupe on an A frame
Some cowl light lenses and get rid of the square mirror, and drive it!
Cool little ride.
If those disc brakes work- why change them? Rather be safe!
She is built on her original frame with what I believe is a 40 front axle and 33 34 wishbone .The rear axle is 39 40 ford with torque arms to the driveshaft .
I am going to change the oil and old gas and see if I cant get her fired up .
The car ran when I put her away , was going to drive her in 2016 but wouldn't start so she sat for a few more years .
Hoping to be able to attend the big modelT meet in PEI Canada in july .They are expecting 200 model.T's on the Island !!!!
My family is from PEI and still have lots of relituves there and havent been there myself for 10 years ....
V8-60's are tits, perfect combination. Thats a sweetie for sure.
Neat car. Cleaned up rather well.
So I put another coil on her this morning , gave her a shot of gas down the carb and she fired right up !!! Runs like a friggin sewing machine.
Took the coil back off , going to move it to the firewall .
Here are some pictures of the v8 60 and the 60s mustang radiator .Motor is a 38 or 39 .
Very nice Sir.I`ll saddle up and go along for the ride.
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.
Wow! The V8-60 is shorter than a stock T engine, what is the steering box from? Bob
I too, would leave the brakes alone. They don't detract from the car, and no one but you and Henry Ford will know they're there.
a few go fast goodies, some wire clean up, and GO!!!
Not sure what the steering box is ?? I am assuming 39 40 ford .Maybe you guys can tell me
I would assume that it came off the same car the motor and transmission came from. That's what they usually did.
My friend in Camarillo,Ca. has one also.
Always nice to see another v8 60hp .
Love the clutch mechanism !!!!
Got the brakes apart , Dad always said they were off a volvo ?? I have searched the internet to no availe to find these calipers !!!!
Nice T you know they say " Girls with dirty feet put out" looks like she'll put out once she's cleaned up.
I love Ts, especially tourings, so yours is great in my book.
IMHO you should install those later wire wheels for the higher speeds and side loads that are possible if not probable. I'd kinda worry about the discs overloading the stock wires in a panic stop too.
Some bolt-on speed equipment would be very kool eventually.
would like to find some 1932 , 18 inch rims for her
been looking for awhile here in Ontario , but not found yet !!!
I have them on my rpu , but have 2 bent spoke rims and 2 straight spoke .
Separate names with a comma.
